Support our Hooters in the Fight Against Breast Cancer

This October, Hooters Restaurants across the country are going PINK to help raise money for the V Foundation for breast cancer research.  The fund was started in honor of Kelly Jo, a former Hooters Girl, Calendar Cover Girl, and first female General Manager, who lost her life to this dreaded disease in 2007 after a valiant fight for five years.  Throughout her struggle she was courageous and selfless, becoming an advocate for early detection, education, and fundraising.  Her influence on our culture of service remains strong as ever.  Since 2007, Hooters has raised over $2 million dollars going to breast cancer research.

This year remains no different and we are offering 4 ways you can help support our cause!

1. Buy a Pink Bracelet at your local Hooters.

2. Buy a 2015 Hooters Calendar, with $1 from each calendar going to the fund.

3. Buy an Orange Shorts Margarita, with $1 from each drink going to the fund.

4. Donate whatever you can!

All contributions will go to fund the Kelly Jo Dowd grant, supporting breast cancer research through the V Foundation for Cancer Research. Kelly Jo was a Hooters girl, Calendar Girl and Palm Harbor Hooters General Manager who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002. She spent the last 5 years of her life battling this disease and became an advocate for early detection, education and fundraising within the Hooters organization. In her memory, Hooters established a $2 million dollar grant to help fight this awful disease.
